Samantha Davidson

Samantha is a registered psychotherapist who specializes in working with children, teens and their families.

Throughout Samantha's career, she has worked in private practice, community mental health, inpatient mental health treatment and hospital settings. She has developed a wealth of expertise in assessing and treating a wide range of issues including anxiety, mood disorders, emotional dysregulation, family conflict, and behavioural challenges as well as high-risk behaviors including self-harm, eating disorders, suicide, and substance use. 

Samantha is experienced in evidence-based methods including dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment focused therapy and emotion focused therapy (EFT). She holds her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Queen’s University and her Masters of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. 

Samantha also provides clinical supervision to fellow psychotherapists seeking to enhance their skills and expand their knowledge, and facilitates workshops, sharing her expertise and insights with parents and the wider community.
