Our groups are designed to build connection, support skill development, and foster a strong sense of identity and resilience. Our services are thoughtfully designed to meet clinical needs while remaining flexible and person-centered. We integrate evidence-based approaches with lived experience to promote resilience, confidence, and a sense of community. Whether you are navigating life with a differently wired brain or supporting someone who is, we are here to support you. 

SERVICES OFFERED

Summer Day Program for Late-Diagnosed Autistic Teens

ages 13-19

This is a 3 day a week, 6 week program for autistic youth struggling with mental health, school attendance, or general wellbeing (e.g. burn out). We aim to support neurodivergent youth in developing the skills needed to build confidence,
develop essential life skills, and cultivate their passions. Using a customizable program and tailored supports, our summer day program is designed to meet youth where they are at to provide a supportive and enriching program experience that celebrates their strengths. Our approach is flexible, strength-based, and grounded in neurodivergent-affirming practices to foster resilience, social confidence, academic engagement and joy.

Parent Support & Skills Group

parents of recently-diagnosed autistic children/youth

This workshop will provide an environment for parents learn and practice concrete strategies for meeting the emotional needs of autistic teens using established techniques to enhance emotional connection (e.g. emotion coaching, EFFT principals) from the lens of the unique strengths and differences of the autistic brain. Parents will leave with increased knowledge and competence with supporting their autistic child, and sense of connection with other parents. Co-facilitated by Dr. Julia Ryan (C. Psych), Dr. Kelly Weegar (C. Psych), and Joanne Doucette (MSW), this 12 hour workshop is four half days planned to maximize learning and connection among group participants.

Social Skills Group for Boys

AGES 11-14

This 8 session group led by Autism consultant, Marcy Sinclair, is designed to utilize evidence based social skill interventions (e.g. PEERS) to target the social skill goals and interests of the group. While exploring the nuances of neurotypical social conventions, participants will learn about social expectations and develop practical strategies to feel more confident interacting in a variety of situations - making friends along the way! The spring group is ongoing and we will accept registrants on a rolling basis.
