Thoughtful, practical learning about neurodiversity, for the people and systems who support it

At Julia Ryan Psychology, we bring clinical expertise out of the assessment room and into the spaces where professionals learn, reflect, and make decisions. Our speaking and teaching engagements help groups understand neurodivergent people more accurately and respond to them more effectively, whether they are clinicians, legal professionals, educators, students, or community members.

Our approach is grounded in real-world practice and a neurodiversity-affirming perspective. We aim to move beyond awareness toward understanding: what ADHD, autism, and learning differences look like across the lifespan, why they are so often missed or misread, and what meaningfully supportive practice looks like in your setting.

We believe the best professional learning is collaborative and reflective, not just informational. Our sessions create space for participants to think deeply about their work, explore complexity, and connect ideas to the people they serve.

Participants leave with:

  • A clearer, more accurate understanding of neurodivergent experience
  • Practical strategies they can apply in their own roles
  • Greater confidence in navigating complex or ambiguous situations
  • A framework for ethical, values-aligned decision-making
