Angélica Cusson, B.A.

Angélica is currently completing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology (M.Ed.) at the University of Ottawa. She is offering psychotherapy to children, teens, and young adults under the supervision of Dr. Christina Amico and Dr. Julia Ryan. She is dedicated to creating a compassionate, welcoming, and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable and understood. Angélica has extensive experience working with neurodivergent youth, including those with ADHD, learning differences, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She takes great joy in supporting clients through emotion regulation and anxiety challenges. She is known for her empathetic, collaborative approach and her natural ability to make clients feel at ease, helping them engage fully in their therapeutic journey.

Angélica has also been working at Julia Ryan Psychology as a psychometrist since 2022. In this role, she conducts test administration, scoring, behavioral observations and report preparation. As Senior Psychometrist, she assists with a variety of assessment tasks behind the scenes to ensure a smooth process for all clients. As Intake coordinator for the practice, Angélica offers free consultations with new clients to discuss their needs and goals, supporting with identifying a good match between clinician and client. In these roles, Angélica works collaboratively with our team to provide seamless support and coordinated care.
